Compensation: $80,000 – $85,000 + full medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and dining perks
We are looking for a hands-on Sous Chef who thrives in a quiet, focused environment where precision, restraint, and respect for ingredients matter above all else.
What You’ll Do
Calm Leadership: Run precise, disciplined services and stand in for Omakase service or main dining room expediting when needed.
Systems & Consistency: Oversee prep volumes based on reservations, manage DOH protocols, and maintain strict sanitation and temperature controls.
Team Development: Train, mentor, and hold line cooks accountable to uncompromising luxury standards without drama or shortcuts.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of culinary supervisory experience in a luxury restaurant or premium hotel setting.
Deep experience in Japanese cuisine and familiarity with high-end Omakase-style sushi service are required.
A culinary degree or apprenticeship is highly preferred.
Strong organizational skills, a high attention to detail, and sensitivity to cultural nuances.
Standard luxury hospitality availability (long shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays).
