We’re seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead catering operations in River Forest, IL. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires operational expertise, strong client service, and the ability to manage staff and programs in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee day-to-day catering operations, from planning to execution.
Lead and develop exempt and hourly employees, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Partner with clients on menu development, events, promotions, and special programs.
Ensure high standards of food quality, service, and presentation.
Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to maximize efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven catering management or Food Service Director/General Manager experience.
Strong operational leadership; union environment experience preferred.
Bilingual skills highly desired.
Creative problem-solver with a client-focused mindset.
Ability to explain career progression clearly if there are job gaps or frequent changes.
Organized, responsive, and hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative environment.
