Catering Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead catering operations in River Forest, IL. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires operational expertise, strong client service, and the ability to manage staff and programs in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee day-to-day catering operations, from planning to execution.

  • Lead and develop exempt and hourly employees, fostering collaboration and accountability.

  • Partner with clients on menu development, events, promotions, and special programs.

  • Ensure high standards of food quality, service, and presentation.

  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to maximize efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven catering management or Food Service Director/General Manager experience.

  • Strong operational leadership; union environment experience preferred.

  • Bilingual skills highly desired.

  • Creative problem-solver with a client-focused mindset.

  • Ability to explain career progression clearly if there are job gaps or frequent changes.

  • Organized, responsive, and hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative environment.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary $65,000 – $70,000
