Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and maintaining high standards of quality
  • Develop a Cadillac-Mexican inspired menu that combines traditional Mexican dishes with modern techniques and premium ingredients
  • Manage food purchasing, inventory control, and cost management to ensure profitability
  • Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver a seamless dining experience for guests
  • Innovate and refresh seasonal menus while maintaining the restaurant's signature style
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and consistency across all dishes
  • Implement efficient kitchen operations to optimize workflow and productivity

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef, preferably in Mexican or Latin cuisine
  • Strong knowledge of authentic Mexican flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a kitchen team
  • Expertise in menu creation, food cost management, and inventory control
  • Passion for culinary innovation and creativity
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Formal culinary training or equivalent experience
